PurePost Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy

Effective: 10-18-2026 · Last updated: October 19, 2026

These Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy (the “Terms”) are a contract between you and Solomon Advisory Group LLC, doing business as Solomon and Associates (“Solomon and Associates,” “we,” “us”), which provides PurePost. They cover the PurePost websites and every service and feature PurePost offers, such as file storage and sync, office documents, calendar and contacts, password management, email, and any add-ons (together, the “Services”).

PurePost is a trademark of Solomon Family LLC, which licenses it to us. Solomon Family LLC is not a party to these Terms and has no obligations to you under them.

The short version

This summary is here to help you read the Terms. The full Terms below control if anything differs.

  • Your files, email, calendar and passwords are yours. We host them; we don’t own them.
  • Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your billing page.
  • Changed your mind? Our Refund Policy gives you 14 days on annual purchases and renewals, and 3 days on monthly purchases and renewals.
  • After your subscription ends, you have at least 30 days to export your data. Then we delete it.
  • Your password vault is encrypted on your device. If you lose your master password, we cannot recover the vault.
  • Don’t use PurePost to break the law, send spam, attack systems, or harm other people.

Agreeing to these Terms

You accept these Terms when you create an account, check out, or use the Services. If you sign up for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it, and “you” means that organization.

We may update these Terms. We will email you before material changes take effect. If you keep using the Services after that date, the new Terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can cancel.

Please read section 12. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual binding arbitration instead of in court, and waives class actions and jury trials. You can opt out within 30 days (section 12.8).

1. Accounts and family plans

1.1 Eligibility. You must be at least 18 to buy a subscription or be an account owner. People aged 13 to 17 may use PurePost only as a member of a family plan managed by their parent or guardian. PurePost is not available to children under 13.

1.2 Your sign-in. Keep your credentials secret and use the account security features we offer, such as multi-factor authentication. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at security@solomonag.com right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

1.3 Accurate information. Give us a working email address and accurate billing details, and keep them current. We send official notices to that address (section 13).

1.4 Family plans. A family plan has one plan manager and up to the number of member seats your plan includes, plus any seats you add.

  • The plan manager pays for the plan, invites and removes members, and agrees to these Terms on behalf of minors they add.
  • Each member has their own account. The plan manager can see account and usage information about members, such as who they are and how much storage they use, but not the content of a member’s account unless that member shares it.
  • Members must follow these Terms. A member who breaks them may be removed or suspended without affecting the rest of the plan.

1.5 Business accounts. Business plans are available on request and may come with an order form. If an order form conflicts with these Terms, the order form controls for that customer. The account owner decides who in the organization gets access and is responsible for their use.

2. Plans, billing and cancellation

2.1 Plans. Each plan includes the features, limits and term shown at checkout. Some plans may be sold only with an annual term. Add-ons are billed with your plan.

2.2 Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or annual term, at the price then in effect, and we charge your saved payment method until you cancel. Before checkout we show the price, the billing interval and how to cancel. We send renewal reminders where the law requires them.

2.3 Cancelling. You can cancel any time from your billing page, online, without contacting us. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the term you already paid for, unless you receive a refund for that term (section 2.4).

2.4 Refunds. Our Refund Policy is part of these Terms. In short: annual plans can be refunded within 14 days of the first purchase or of an annual renewal charge, and monthly plans within 3 days of the first charge or of a monthly renewal charge. A refund of a plan charge cancels that subscription. Other payments are non-refundable, except where the Refund Policy, these Terms (for example, sections 9.2 and 10.2) or the law provide otherwise.

2.5 Plan changes. Upgrades and add-ons take effect right away and are prorated for the rest of the term. Downgrades, removing add-ons, and switching from annual to monthly billing take effect at the next renewal. If you go over your plan’s limits, we may restrict uploads or other features until you’re back within them.

2.6 Price changes. We email you before a price increase applies to you. The new price starts at your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before it does.

2.7 Payment processing. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (currently Stripe, Inc.), whose terms also apply to payment processing. We don’t store full card numbers.

2.8 Taxes. Prices do not include sales or other taxes. We add any tax we are required to collect, and it is shown before you pay.

2.9 Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it and suspend your account until the balance is paid. If it stays unpaid, we may end the subscription, and the export window in section 9 begins.

2.10 Promotions. Discount codes, if we offer any, apply only on the terms stated with them, have no cash value, and can’t be combined unless we say so.

3. Your data

3.1 You own it. Everything you store or send through PurePost — files, documents, email, contacts, calendars and vault items (“Your Data”) — stays yours.

3.2 The permission we need. You let us host, store, copy, transmit, process, back up and display Your Data only as needed to provide, maintain, support and secure the Services, to do what you direct (such as sharing), and to follow the law. This permission ends when Your Data is deleted from our systems, including backups (section 9).

3.3 How we use Your Data. We don’t sell Your Data. We access it only to provide, maintain and support the Services, do what you direct, keep the Services secure, enforce these Terms, or comply with the law.

3.4 Sharing. If you share files or calendars with other people, including through public links, you decide who sees them and you are responsible for that sharing.

3.5 Our rights. The Services, their software and the PurePost name and logos belong to us or our licensors, including Solomon Family LLC. These Terms don’t give you any rights in them except the right to use the Services as these Terms allow.

4. Security

4.1 What we do. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect Your Data, and we notify you of security incidents as the law requires.

4.2 What you do. Security is shared. You are responsible for your passwords, your devices, the people you share with, and keeping your own copies of anything you can’t afford to lose. We back up the Services, but backups exist to recover our systems, not to restore individual files you deleted.

4.3 Password vault. Your vault is encrypted and decrypted on your own device with a key derived from your master password. We never receive your master password or the unencrypted contents of your vault. That means we cannot reset your master password or recover your vault if you lose it. Keep your master password and any recovery codes somewhere safe.

4.4 End-to-end encryption. Except where we state that a service is end-to-end encrypted, PurePost systems can process your content to provide features such as search, previews, editing and sync.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You, and anyone using your account or family plan, may not use the Services to:

  1. Break any law, including privacy, export-control, consumer-protection and anti-spam laws.
  2. Store, share or link to child sexual abuse material. We report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as the law requires, and end the account.
  3. Harass, threaten, stalk, defraud or impersonate anyone, or share someone’s private information or intimate images without consent.
  4. Infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
  5. Store or distribute malware, phishing pages, or stolen credentials, card data or personal data.
  6. Probe, scan, attack or test any system or network — ours or anyone else’s — without written permission.
  7. Get around authentication, quotas, rate limits or other technical limits, or access another user’s data.
  8. Overload the Services: crypto-mining, running public file-hosting or CDN services, or automated traffic beyond normal personal or business use.
  9. Resell or rebrand the Services without a written agreement with us.
  10. Reverse engineer the parts of the Services that are not open source. This doesn’t limit your rights under the licenses of the open-source software we run.

Enforcement. If we believe these rules have been broken, we may investigate, remove content, limit features, or suspend or end the account. Report abuse to abuse@solomonag.com.

6. Email service rules

PurePost email is for personal and ordinary business correspondence.

6.1 Your address. You choose your PurePost address once, on the Your address page; it is how you sign in, and it can’t be changed later. Role and system names (such as admin, postmaster or support) are reserved, and we may refuse or remove addresses that are misleading, offensive or infringe someone’s rights. The address is provided as part of the Services: it stays yours while you have an account, receives mail while your plan includes email, and is deleted when your account is deleted. We don’t give an address that has received mail to anyone else.

6.2 If your plan stops including email. If email is removed from your plan or a payment is overdue, your mailbox is paused: you can’t send or receive mail, but nothing is deleted, and it works again when your plan includes email. When your subscription ends, your mailbox follows section 9.

6.3 Device passwords. The password for phones and mail apps is shown to you once. Keep it safe, and make a new one on the Your address page if it may have been exposed.

6.4 Sending rules.

  • No unsolicited bulk or commercial email. Commercial messages you do send must follow the CAN-SPAM Act, including a working unsubscribe link and your postal address.
  • No purchased, rented or scraped mailing lists. Use a dedicated email-marketing service for newsletters and campaigns.
  • Sending limits apply. We may set and change them, including lower limits for new accounts.
  • No forged headers or spoofed sender addresses.
  • We may scan incoming and outgoing mail automatically for spam, malware and phishing, and block messages that fail those checks.

7. Copyright complaints

We respond to notices of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Send notices to dmca@solomonag.com. A notice must include the items listed in 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). If we remove material, we tell the user, who may send a counter-notice. We end the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

8. Regulated data

PurePost is not designed for data that carries special legal requirements unless we agree in writing.

  • Health information (HIPAA). Don’t store or send protected health information unless you are a covered entity or business associate and we have signed a Business Associate Agreement with you.
  • Payment card data. Don’t store full card numbers, CVVs or magnetic-stripe data in the Services outside the encrypted password vault.
  • Financial institutions (GLBA). You are responsible for deciding whether PurePost meets your obligations under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the FTC Safeguards Rule before storing customer information in it.
  • Other regulated data (for example, export-controlled technical data or classified information) isn’t permitted.

9. Ending your subscription and getting your data out

9.1 You can leave any time by cancelling (section 2.3) or deleting your account.

9.2 We may suspend or end your account for nonpayment (section 2.9), an AUP violation (section 5), a legal requirement, or a risk to other users or our systems. We give notice by email first when we reasonably can. If we end the Services for reasons other than your breach, we refund any prepaid time you didn’t use.

9.3 Export. You can download your data while your account is active and during the window in 9.4.

9.4 Export window. When a subscription ends, you have at least 30 days to export Your Data. After that we delete it, including your PurePost email address and mailbox, and it is removed from backups on our normal backup cycle. We keep some records longer when the law requires it, such as billing records.

9.5 Deleting sooner. You can delete your data or your account at any time. Deletion can’t be undone.

9.6 What survives. Sections 3, 9, 11, 12 and 13 continue after these Terms end, along with any payment you still owe.

10. Availability and changes

10.1 Availability. We don’t promise the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may take them offline for maintenance.

10.2 Changing the Services. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a major part of a paid service you use, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund for the unused time.

10.3 Early access and beta features. Invitation-only access, preview features and anything marked beta are provided as-is, may change or end without notice, and may not be supported.

11. Disclaimers, liability and indemnity

11.1 Disclaimer. Apart from the promises in these Terms, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11.2 Limit on damages. To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for all claims about the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

11.3 Exceptions. The limits in 11.2 don’t apply to a party’s fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, to your payment obligations, to your indemnity duties, or to anything the law doesn’t allow to be limited. Some states don’t allow certain exclusions, so some of 11.2 may not apply to you.

11.4 Your indemnity. If someone makes a claim against us because of Your Data or your breach of the AUP, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. This section applies to individual consumers only to the extent the law permits.

12. Disputes and arbitration

12.1 Informal resolution first. Before either of us files a claim, the party with the dispute must describe it by email to the other (to us at legal@solomonag.com), and we will both try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days. Each person must send their own notice, with their name, account email and the relief they want. Time limits for bringing a claim are paused during this period.

12.2 Agreement to arbitrate. You and we agree to resolve any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or our relationship (each, a “Dispute”) by binding individual arbitration, not in court. This includes Disputes that arose before you accepted these Terms. The arbitrator decides all issues, including the scope and enforceability of this section, except that a court decides issues about sections 12.6, 12.7 and 12.10.

12.3 Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. Either of us may also ask a court for an injunction to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property, or unauthorized access to the Services.

12.4 Rules. The American Arbitration Association (AAA) administers the arbitration under its Consumer Arbitration Rules if you use the Services for personal, family or household purposes, and otherwise under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, together with its Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules where they apply. The rules are available at adr.org. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Hearings take place in the county where you live or by video, and claims for $25,000 or less are decided on written submissions unless the arbitrator decides a hearing is needed.

12.5 Fees. Filing, administrative and arbitrator fees are paid as the AAA rules and fee schedules provide. The arbitrator may award fees and costs as the law and those rules allow.

12.6 Individual claims only. You and we may bring claims against each other only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking it, and only as needed for that party’s individual claim. You and we waive any right to a jury trial.

12.7 Mass filings. If 25 or more similar demands for arbitration are filed against us by the same or coordinated counsel, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules apply, and the demands will be administered in batches of up to 100, with one arbitrator per batch, while the rest wait. Time limits for the waiting claims are paused until their batch begins.

12.8 Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@solomonag.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, with your name, account email and a statement that you opt out. Opting out doesn’t affect the rest of these Terms.

12.9 Changes to this section. If we change this section, you may reject the change by emailing legal@solomonag.com within 30 days after it takes effect, and the last version you accepted continues to apply to you. A change never applies to a Dispute that is already pending or that we had already been notified of.

12.10 If part of this section is unenforceable. If a court finds section 12.6 unenforceable for a particular claim or form of relief (such as public injunctive relief), that claim or relief is severed and decided by a court after everything else is arbitrated, and the rest of section 12 still applies. If section 12.6 is found unenforceable for a class claim as a whole, section 12 doesn’t apply to that claim.

12.11 Governing law and courts. These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and the laws of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any Dispute that is not arbitrated goes to the state or federal courts in Ingham, Michigan, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection your home state’s law gives you that can’t be waived by contract.

13. Notices, general terms and contact

13.1 Electronic notices. You agree to receive notices, disclosures, receipts and policy updates by email to your account’s primary address, and that they count as written notice. You can’t opt out of account and billing emails while you have an account.

13.2 General. These Terms, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, and any order form are the whole agreement between us about the Services. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or sale of our business.
